What sets the Northern Cape apart
Two segments dominate the opportunity pipeline. First, renewable energy: the province hosts most of South Africa's utility-scale solar PV and CSP capacity, plus a growing wind portfolio. Independent Power Producer balance-of-plant tenders, social and labour plan procurement, and grid infrastructure tenders all flow from this. Second, mining-adjacent services around Kathu (iron ore), Postmasburg (manganese), and the Kalahari (diamonds and base metals).
Bidding strategy

- Travel and mobilisation logistics need to be priced realistically — distances between briefings, sites, and project locations are large.
