About agriculture procurement
Agriculture-sector tenders are issued by the national Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, provincial agriculture departments, the Agricultural Research Council, and the Land Bank, alongside agri-related procurement from district and local municipalities. Recurring categories include fencing, boreholes and irrigation, veterinary services, extension services, fresh produce market infrastructure, and post-harvest cold-chain facilities.
Detailed sector hub — coming soon
We're building a detailed agriculture-sector hub covering the major procuring entities, the recurring tender categories, the compliance requirements (SAVC registration for veterinary services, environmental authorisations, water-use licences), and the link between sector codes (AgriBEE) and PPPFA specific goals. Join the waitlist below to be notified when it publishes.
In the meantime, the eTenders Publication Portal carries all current agriculture-sector tenders.
